this is my project for Unit 3

it is about texture in architecture, in particular I am focussed on the exterior features of buildings.

my attention goes to the shapes and the different claddings that can characterize the external aspect of a building, specifically in modern architectures, that make use of different means to create interesting embossed patterns.

comparing this to a skin, my aim is to recreate these patterns and give them a tactile feeling, in order to give the opportunity to touch and stroke the surface of a building. Putting this into practice, I will use embossed paper, or other paper engineering and finishing to get these results.
